Archbishop Robert L. Wise just returned from ministering in Italy. During this time he both worked with the Roman Catholic Church and taught the Arch Community gathering on the Isle of Capri.
During Wise's time with the Roman Catholic Church, he met with the multi-million Catholic Fraternity that reaches across the globe. Bishop Ron Rae accompanied him during this time. With bishops, archbishops, and Cardinals, Wise entered into a discussion of the next phases of ministry across the world. Charismatic worship highlighted the daily sessions meeting in Assisi, Italy. During this time, the group met in the Church of Assisi where St. Francis is buried. At the end of these sessions, the group went to Rome and presented their findings to Pope Benedic XVI. Archbishop Wise and the Roman Catholic Clergy were received by the Pope in a special audience.
Archbishop Wise feels that these meetings paved the way for greater ecumenicity and ministry around the world as Protestants and Roman Catholics lock arms in the common cause of spreading the gospel. The common ministry with the Catholic Fraternity has proved to be deeply inspiring.
